LOT NUMBER: All Nature’s Choice products are traceable and can have the following EXAMPLE markings of the date of packaging: “MFDLOT230417” or “PACKED ON 2303-27 or “LOT# 2307-04”
EXPIRY DATE: Although technically there is no expiry date for spices, herbs, or blends, we suggest spring cleaning every year, and discard all spice or herb and blends.
Still need to keep a pinch, discard ground spices, herbs or blends past two years and any whole items past three years.
Restock and try some new stuff too 🙂
GLUTEN: Spices and herbs are inherently gluten free, we do not test for gluten.
IRRADIATION: ONLY PRODUCT THAT HAVE BEEN IRRADIATION, MUST SHOW IRRADIATION HAS OCCURRED. There is no requirement in Canada to label “NON-IRRADIATED”, this is FALSE UNIQUENESS.
FACILITIES: We are a dedicated spice and herb facility. The following allergens can be found within our facility: Mustard, Pickling Spice (Mustard Seeds), Sesame seeds. Nature’s Choice Foods commitment to food safety ensures our policies are in compliance with industry standards for food manufacturing. Industry policy is set out by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
COUNTRY of ORIGIN: Nature’s Choice Foods is an importer of spices herbs, garlic & onion. There is no requirement for the Country of Origin listed on Nature’s Choice Foods packaging. However, for further information of country origin please contact us with : place and date of purchase, product description, including UPC code and lot #.
